Veste d'été

       
Lors de la venue de Cath de Savoie à Paris, nous avons fait un passage à la Droguerie.

When my friend Cath came from Savoie to Paris in april, we went to the store « la Droguerie ».

J’ai repéré un petit gilet d’été tricoté en jersey tricolore en bambou et en coton qui m'a donné envie de tricoter. 

I saw a cute cardigan knitted in three colors with cotton and bamboo.

Vous connaissez certainement le bambou, tellement à la mode en ce moment !

Bamboo is ecological and very fashion for knitting. 


               

                                                                                                              Modèle la Droguerie

J’ai choisi deux coloris chinés de bleu en bambou et un coton 100% de bleu uni.

I choosed two variageted blue in bamboo and one blue in cotton

Le bambou demande à être tricoté avec du coton pour assurer une bonne tenue.
Bamboo needs to be knitted with cotton, otherwise your piece should be too soft 

Le gilet d’été s’est transformé en petite veste courte, en remplaçant le point de jersey par le point de blé.

Finally I changed the cardigan into a summer short vest by knitting in « corn stitch » instead of « jersey stitch ».

 

Bordures en point de mousse, boutons de nacre. 

Mother of pearl buttons. Edges are knitted in a different stitch but I don't know the translation in English.
